Dead On Arrival (DOA)
All DOA Apple equipment is dealt with
directly by Apple, the procedure is as
follows:-

DOA is reported to Apple within
14 days on 0870 8765495.

Apple will issue you a DOA
reference number and you will
shortly be contacted by Amsys, Apple’s approved DOA centre.

Amsys will collect the DOA, and
check the fault out, if it is an
external fault (i.e. power
supply) it will be repaired and
returned. If the fault is not
fixable it will be replaced by a
brand new unit; this can take up
to 10 working days, though it is
usually much quicker.

AppleCare Protection Plans
All Apple hardware comes with a one year
return to base warranty, to gain a repair
under warranty you need to contact your
nearest service provider, this can be found
at

AppleCare Protection Plans can be purchased
from Computer 2000, this upgrades the
AppleCare Protection Plan to 3 year return to base, and also
gives priority telephone support etc.
iPod AppleCare
The new Apple iPod comes with a 90 day
limited AppleCare Protection Plan. Further information can be
